Check Point Secures Full FedRAMP Authorization for Infinity Platform for Government

September 25, 2025 By admin Leave a Comment

Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP) has announced a major milestone in its public sector journey: the company has achieved full FedRAMP authorization for its Infinity Platform for Government at the Moderate Impact Level. This authorization means that federal agencies can now confidently deploy Check Point’s prevention-first, AI-powered cyber defense suite across sensitive government networks and cloud environments, ensuring compliance with stringent federal standards while strengthening their defense posture against escalating cyber threats.

The FedRAMP Moderate baseline covers systems that handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), making this certification crucial for agencies tasked with safeguarding national operations. With this achievement, Check Point joins the small group of security providers trusted to deliver AI-driven, zero-trust solutions that meet the U.S. government’s rigorous requirements. Bill Diaz, VP of Vertical Solutions at Check Point, noted that this validates the company’s “rigorous approach to security” and solidifies its role as a “trusted partner for the most demanding federal environments.”

The timing of this authorization aligns with an urgent security context. According to Check Point’s 2025 Security Report, cyberattacks have surged by 44% globally, with the government sector identified as the second-most targeted industry. Federal agencies now face an average of 2,286 attacks every week—numbers that underscore the scale of the challenge and the importance of a comprehensive prevention-first strategy. The Infinity Platform for Government brings together Harmony Email for workspace protection, Infinity’s modular architecture for multi-layered defenses, and Infinity ThreatCloud AI, which leverages over 300 machine learning features to detect, categorize, and block advanced threats in real time.

The platform delivers three essential capabilities that are particularly critical for federal agencies. Its AI-powered defenses enable proactive detection and automated remediation to limit the window of exposure. Its zero-trust architecture ensures that implicit trust is eliminated, curbing lateral movement within sensitive systems. Finally, its real-time global threat intelligence provides predictive insights to neutralize emerging attacks before they disrupt critical government operations. Together, these measures provide an integrated, prevention-centric approach that moves beyond compliance to proactive cyber resilience.

For the federal government, this FedRAMP authorization represents not just a vendor approval but an expansion of trusted cyber infrastructure. At a time when cyberattacks are not only growing in number but also in sophistication—ranging from nation-state campaigns to AI-enabled intrusions—the availability of a fully authorized, AI-driven platform like Check Point Infinity offers agencies the ability to move faster, anticipate more, and secure their missions with confidence. Check Point has signaled its intention to continue working through the FedRAMP process to bring more solutions under authorization, extending its prevention-first philosophy across the broader federal IT ecosystem.
