Mettle Ops and Prosper-Tech Machine & Tool Expand Capabilities with New Joint Venture
Sterling Heights, MI – Mettle Craft Manufacturing, a joint venture between Mettle Ops and Prosper-Tech Machine & Tool, is pleased to announce their Multiple Award, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (MA IDIQ) contract. This is a 5-year opportunity for $19 million. Mettle Craft is one of four businesses selected.
Mettle Craft will provide surge support for Built-to-Print component requirements through fabrication and manufacturing for the Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Ground Vehicle System Center (GVSC), previously known as TARDEC. They will supply mechanical parts and assemblies including mechanical fabrication, machining, assembly, procurement, verification, quality control & assurance, packaging, and kitting.
This new venture comes from the leadership of two Women Owned Small Businesses (WOSB) with a rich history of exceeding customer expectations and fiscal responsibility. The partnership was catalyzed while in their Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses cohort. Both companies Quality Management System is ISO 9001:2015 certified and NIST 800-171 Compliant through NUDG Systems (https://www.nudgsystems.com).

The joint venture will manufacture or modify parts, components, subsystems, and systems according to Government-provided design drawings, Computer Aided Design models, and Technical Data Packages.
