Wilkinson Barker Knauer Named 2021 Legal 500 USA First Tier Firm for 12th Consecutive Year

June 14, 2021 By admin Leave a Comment

WASHINGTON — Wilkinson Barker Knauer, LLP (WBK) proudly announces that for the 12th consecutive year it is ranked a First Tier firm by Legal 500 in its 2021 USA rankings for Telecoms and Broadcast: Regulatory. According to Legal 500’s summary, WBK “is active across the telecoms, broadcasting, cable, broadband, and satellite industries, and maintains an enviable client roster.”

This year, WBK had two attorneys named Legal 500 Leading Lawyers: Managing Partner Bryan Tramont (Hall of Fame — 12th consecutive year) and Partner Ken Satten. The Legal 500 summary of the firm also individually recognized Christine Crowe, Adam Krinsky, and Jennifer Tatel, while client testimonials mentioned David O’Connor, Russ Hanser, Chuck Keller, and Natalie Roisman.

“It is always a tremendous honor to be valued by our peers and clients for doing the work we love — and particularly rewarding to see Ken Satten’s extraordinary legal skill and leadership recognized,” said WBK Managing Partner Bryan Tramont. “In light of the challenging times of the past year, this honor holds a special place in our hearts. Congratulations to all the other well-deserving firms and lawyers.”

For 34 years, the Legal 500 has been analyzing the capabilities of law firms across the world, with a comprehensive research program revised and updated every year to bring the most up-to-date vision of the global legal market. The rankings are based on a series of criteria which highlight the practice area teams who are providing the most cutting edge and innovative advice to corporate counsel. Research is based on feedback from 300,000 clients worldwide, submissions from law firms and interviews with leading private practice lawyers, and a team of researchers who have unrivalled experience in the legal market.

Wilkinson Barker Knauer LLP, one of the largest law firms in the nation dedicated primarily to the practice of communications and energy law, is ranked as a “Band 1” firm by Chambers USA (11 straight years; Telecom, Broadcast, and Satellite: Regulatory), and Legal 500 (12 straight years; Telecoms and broadcast: regulatory), and is the only firm to be named “Law Firm of the Year” in communications law five times by U.S. News – Best Lawyers (2012, 2014, 2018, 2019, and 2021). The firm, with offices in Washington, DC, and Denver, Colorado, advises clients ranging from global Fortune 100 companies to small start-ups in regulatory, transactional, privacy, consumer protection, intellectual property, corporate and litigation matters involving all aspects of communications and energy law, at both the state and federal levels.
