Lightroom is generally much more powerful editing tool than Snapseed. Lightroom requires paid subscription from Adobe while Snapseed is free. Lightroom is a tool used by vast majority of photographer’s community both professional and amateur, available both in mobile and desktop versions. Snapseed is a Google-owned quick-fix mobile app.
Considering that Instagram photos are low resolution Snapseed is more than sufficient for Instagram.
